May the holidays end soon… this is the phrase that have never come into my mind during CNY festival.
I planned to stay home during CNY holidays, though, but like what has evolved into a normal occurrence, I found myself sneak-out from my den.
On the first day, Aly, Peter, and I had a morning walk on the way up the steep slope of Mt. Faber. Ruel and Jayme supposed to join the marathon, but then they were late, they missed the cool fresh breeze at the top, and the breath-taking view of Singapore town on the one side and the sea at the other side. Indeed, I fell in love with the place (sigh) I wish…hmm… nevermind… After an hour walk, we headed to Aly’s unit, which is at the foot of Mt Faber. Where we had our 9-hour-self-entertaining movie marathon! Wahhh!
The second day, I joined GX for Muay Thai! Then went to Louvre… I mean… to the National Museum of Singapore where Greek masterpieces from the famed Louvre in Paris were exhibited. I’m beginning to find photograph interesting. The museum closed by 6pm and so I kissed goodbye to a friend since he had to join a family reunion, typical Chinese routine during CNY. It was too early to go back home, so I decided to come to Mt Faber where Kaye and Jerry were dating atop Jewel Box. I badly wanted to feel the breeze again so instead of boarding BUS 409 I opted to walk! Imagine that! Anyway, I intended to come late to give this young couple the ample time together without me in the picture.
Saturday, my rest day. The day I used to recharge my strength. Thank God! No matter how hopeless and sinful being I am, He’s always willing to listen and hear my unspoken words.
Sunday, we were whacked by the movie Shattered, a suspense “comedy” movie… that’s how I describe it. Why? See for yourself!
These are the pictures of those days etched in memories.
Today, back to normal. Everything passes by.
