Vacation 001

Monday, January 14th, 2008

For the past few months, I find that I’m really wearing myself thin. Hence, I decided to visit my home (Philippines) for a 9-day vacation. It’s good to be back home and spend time with my family and friends. I wish the environment is as good as Singapore, though, that I don’t see rubbish along the streets, no traffic jam, and taxi drivers can do the right math. But then again, there is no place like home and no words can explain why I will always want to come back.
I tried to relax, but it’s hard to relax with my "mind chatter". My thoughts were racing in 100 directions. I wanted to stay home and do nothing at all, but it’s pretty difficult to do nothing for an Energizer bunny like me who wants to keep going and going and going. While in the Philippines, I was very cautious staying late outside because, darn! hold-uppers can strike anywhere! And I never want to hear the words “Holdap ‘to” in a real setting.
Cold and fever didn’t hinder me from going out and meeeting friends. I tried to temporarily forget those work I have to get done and hoping to ultimately recharge my batteries to make me more productive and able to concentrate in a long run when I get back to fast-paced, high-information society where people believe that staying busy is a normal state of existence.
Alamah!!!! Tuesday, back to normal!

My cute litte angels (niece and nephew)
Three is a company… believe me…

I hope to bring my happy face when I get back to work. Ayoh!!!
